The 13th African Games will include 358 participants from Nigeria competing in 25 different sports, according to the Nigeria Olympics Committee (NOC).
This was said in a statement made in Lagos on Monday by Tony Nezianya, the NOC’s public relations officer.
He announced that Accra, Kumasi, and Cape Coast would host the Games from March 8 to March 23.
At the event, Nigeria is competing in 25 different sports. At the March 4 Delegation Registration Meeting, athletes from Nigeria were granted accreditation, he stated.
The analysis shows that Arm Wrestling has 15 participants, while Team Taekwondo, Wrestling, and Karate have 14 apiece.
Teams in weightlifting and badminton have twelve members, boxing has eleven fighters, judo has ten, and scrabble has eight players.
