A new era is about to begin for well-known singer David Adeleke, better known by his stage name Davido.

His fourth studio album, “Timeless,” coincidentally marks the end of an era, he claimed.

The vocalist made this statement on Wednesday when releasing the music video for “Kante,” a standout single off the Grammy-nominated album that features Fave.

He expressed gratitude to his family and supporters for their steadfast support, saying that it has been the era’s backbone.

Davido declared that he is now excited for a new phase of music and achievements.

He posted the following on his X handle: “I’m overwhelmed with emotions after watching the ‘Kante’ video today. Not only is this a release, but it also signifies the conclusion of the “Timeless” era. Your devotion and energy made every moment become history, from the sale of every ticket to every place we visited. God has kept us standing despite everything we’ve endured, including sold-out performances, sleepless nights, and the best and lowest points of our lives!

It is not enough to express my gratitude to my family and followers. This age has been anchored by your support. As we come to an end of this chapter, know that you kept us going.

Though the ‘Timeless’ era is coming to an end, our story goes on. I am excited to embark on new adventures with you and embrace new milestones, songs, and chapters. We are going to take things to new heights.
