LAGOS STATE GOVERNOR, SANWO-OLU, SWears IN 13 NEW HIGH COURT JUDGES

In a ceremony held today at the Banquet Hall, Lagos House Ikeja, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu swore in 13 newly appointed High Court Judges of Lagos State.

The newly appointed judges are:

 

1. Hon. Justice Azeez, Fimisola Augusta

2. Hon. Justice George, Alfred Akingbola

3. Hon. Justice Badejo-Okusanya, Yewande Jokotola

4. Hon. Justice Shonubi, Adenike Kudirat

5. Hon. Justice Layinka, Oyeladun Amope

6. Hon. Justice Sunmonu, Tunde Bashiru

7. Hon. Justice Adewale, Russell Musiliu

8. Hon. Justice Ojuromi, Nalirat Oluwatosin Olayinka

9. Hon. Justice Balogun, Adegboyega Ganiu

10. Hon. Justice Anjorin-Ajose, Tanimola AbdulWaheed

11. Hon. Justice Alebiosu, Olawale Lawal

12. Hon. Justice Muyideen, Abdul-Raheem Tejumade

13. Hon. Justice Popoola, Oluwatosin Ajose

The swearing-in ceremony marks a significant milestone in the Lagos State Judiciary, as it strengthens the bench and enhances the administration of justice in the state.

Governor Sanwo-Olu congratulated the new judges, urging them to uphold the highest standards of integrity, fairness, and justice in their duties.

 

The appointment and swearing-in of the new judges demonstrate the commitment of the Lagos State Government to the improvement of the judiciary and the overall administration of justice in the state.
