Renowned musician D’banj has appreciated the contribution Don Jazzy, his former producer and business partner, made to his career.

The “Oliver Twist” hitmaker stated that Don Jazzy was essential to the completion of his creative journey.

He revealed this on Tuesday when posting a video of his courtesy visit to Don Jazzy, during which he gave him the invitation card for his anniversary dinner celebrating 20 years in the music business.

He claimed that the nostalgic occasion brought back memories of the significant accomplishments they had made together.

D’banj posted the video on his X Twitter and captioned it, saying, “My 20-year journey would not be complete without @DONJAZZY once again! Sending him the invitation to my anniversary dinner was a sentimental occasion. I am reminded of the innumerable experiences and significant occasions we have experienced together as we both commemorate our 20 years in the business. Cheers to two decades of laughter, fraternity, and unfailing support. Brother, I will always love you! OhooSHeeeee.

In 2004, D’banj and Don Jazzy formed Mo’Hits Records together. In 2012, Mo Hits as a label dissolved, with Don Jazzy blaming divergent tastes as the cause.

Dbanj founded the DB record label, and Don Jazzy went on to form Mavins Record Label.
