Nigerian music icon Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, has openly professed his love for Edo State lawmaker, Honourable Natasha Osawaru, while dismissing allegations that she played a role in his separation from his wife, Annie Idibia.
In a video posted on his social media page on Wednesday morning which has now been deleted, the singer addressed ongoing speculations about his relationship with Osawaru, which gained traction after he was seen at the Edo State Assembly on Monday and later spotted with her at a Lagos club.
Responding to the controversy, 2Baba stated, “Allegedly, I’ve been seeing so many things, so many people coming up with their own false narratives and malicious nonsense after I posted what I posted.”
He went on to defend Osawaru, emphasizing that she was being unfairly targeted. “Hon. Natasha has been dragged, called all sorts of names, and labeled a home breaker. She is a young, brilliant, and amazing woman, and she had nothing to do with what is happening between me and Annie in our marriage,” he asserted.
The music legend then made a bold declaration, saying, “Yes, I love her. She is amazing, she is cool, and I want to marry her.”
Concluding his statement, 2Baba criticized the spread of baseless rumors and sarcastically suggested that authorities should take action against the reckless dissemination of false information online.
