Nigerian singer Ayra Starr and veteran actor Richard Mofe-Damijo (RMD). have officially ventured into Hollywood, joining the cast of the upcoming film adaptation of Tomi Adeyemi’s bestselling novel, Children of Blood and Bone.
The music star, Ayra Starr known for her hit songs and unique style, will be making her acting debut alongside an impressive lineup of Hollywood stars, including Viola Davis, Cynthia Erivo, Idris Elba, Chiwetel Ejiofor and Regina King.
The news comes just months after Ayra Starr made her first steps into Nollywood in the festive movie, Christmas in Lagos; marking her growing presence in the film industry.
Several other Nigerian musicians have also made successful transitions into acting, including Simi, Yemi Alade, Tiwa Savage, Falz, Banky W, and Reminisce.
Her role in Children of Blood and Bone further cements her as a multi-talented entertainer, expanding her influence beyond the music industry.
