Blessing Abeng is a prominent figure in the branding and communications arena in Africa, renowned for her expertise in helping brands discover and articulate their unique identity to tell compelling stories. As the Co-founder and Director of Communications at Ingressive for Good, an edtech non-profit, she played a pivotal role in driving the mission to empower African youth through tech training and resources, thereby contributing to the growth of the African startup ecosystems.

Under Blessing’s leadership, Ingressive for Good experienced remarkable growth, expanding its community from zero to over 250,000 members. The organization trained over 100,000 individuals, facilitated job placements for thousands, and initiated multiple cohorts of women-focused tech training. Blessing’s efforts attracted partnerships and support from major entities such as Coursera, DataCamp, Facebook, Figma, Alphabet, and more.

Prior to her impactful work with Ingressive for Good, Blessing co-founded Disha, a digital tech startup that caught the attention of the African Unicorn, Flutterwave, resulting in a successful acquisition. Her role as the former Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) of Disha significantly contributed to the company’s growth and success, leaving a lasting impact on the African tech landscape.

Blessing’s contributions to the industry have been widely recognized, earning her several awards and honors, including Forbes 30 Under 30, UN 100 Most Influential People of African Descent Under 40, YNaija’s recognition as one of the 100 most powerful youths in Nigeria, inclusion in the PR Power List top 50, and the UK Africa Achievers Awards, among others.
