Speaker Abbas Unveils 80-bed Hospital In Lagos

The Speaker of the Federal House of Representatives, Abbas Tajudeen, on Tuesday, unveiled an 80-bed hospital in the Imota area of Ikorodu, Lagos state.

The Senior Special Assistant to the Lagos State Governor on New Media, Jubril Gawat, revealed this in photos shared on his X handle on Wednesday.

 

His caption read, “The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. (Dr.) Tajudeen Abass commissioned an 80-bed Hospital in the Imota community of Ikorodu, Lagos State.

“This hospital project was facilitated by the Golden Boy of Ikorodu, Hon. Babajimi Adegoke Benson, representing Ikorodu Federal Constituency.

 

“The hospital was constructed and equipped by the Office of the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Sustainable Development Goals.

“While commissioning the project, the Speaker, Rt. Hon. Tajudeen Abass commended Jimi Benson for facilitating the project, and for bringing dividends of democracy to his constituents.”

 

The Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila, and the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, also unveiled other projects in the state on Tuesday.

 

The projects include an 80-bed Femi Gbajabiamila General Hospital in Surulere, Femi Gbajabiamila Conference Centre in Lagos State University, Ojo; the reconstructed Babs Animashaun Road and Census Bridge in Surulere; and Sam Shonibare Youth Development Centre.
