The United World Wrestling has released its most recent rankings, and Olympian Odunayo Adekuoroye is currently placed No. 1 in the world in the 57 kg class with 49000 points.

According to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), she was given the job because of her wrestling performance in the current African Games in Ghana.

A pinfall victory for Adekuoroye over Zineb Hassoune of Morocco secured her Gold in the 57kg category at the 13th African Games.

 

According to NAN, Tsugumi Sakurai of Japan is in third place with 45000 points, while Anastasia Nichita of Moldova is in second place with 47200 points.

Despite the fact that the wrestler had not competed as frequently as she would have liked, Nigeria Wrestling Federation President Daniel Igali expressed his excitement at the accomplishment.
