Being a parent of twins has brought joy to Afrobeats musician David Adeleke, better known by his stage name Davido.
It was the “best feeling ever,” according to the DMW CEO.
In a recent interview, Davido told Billboard that while some had predicted that raising the twins would be tough for him and his wife, things have really gone rather well.
He mentioned how quickly the twins are growing and how they don’t cry.
“Everyone was calling when they first arrived, saying things like, ‘They have twins, blah, blah, blah.'” It will be challenging. My twins, though, are fortunate. They are not even weepy.
They’re simply serene and expanding quite quickly. It is only auspicious. Really, thank God for everything,” he said.
They also discussed his next record.
He gave his word that the record would be released this year.
Davido continued by dropping hints about a future project with Chris Brown, claiming it will be on the American singer’s album, which is due out in two weeks.
He mentioned that he and Brown have over 20 unheard tracks together, raising the prospect of a collaborative album.
