The Executive Secretary of the Lagos State Employment Trust Fund (LSETF), Feyisayo Olamide has disclosed that the primary purpose for the establishment of the Agency by the State Government is to make life easier for its citizenry through different avenues, policies and programmes.
Olamide stated this recently when she and her team paid a courtesy visit to the General Manager of Lagos State Residents Registration Agency (LASRRA), Bilikiss Adebiyi-Abiola in her office at Agidingbi, Ikeja, adding that there is a need for the two Agencies to collaborate and leverage their area of expertise to achieve their mandates and enhance the development of Lagos State.
Noting that more awareness still needs to be created amongst residents, especially the youths, as regards what the LSETF has to offer to make them relevant and contribute to the economic development of the State, Olamide then implored residents to visit the website:lsetf.ng to key into the initiative of the Agency.
In her remarks, the General Manager, of LASRRA informed the visiting team that the new LAG-ID card comes with 28 applets and as such LSETF could interface with the LASRRA database using an Application Programming Interface (API) to connect to its numerous programmes for residents’ verification.
Other members of the LSETF team were the Director of Programmes and Coordination, Oyindamola Egbeyemi and the Head of Technology Arm (Lagos Innovate), Akeem Onasanya.
