Finidi George ought to be selected the new coach of the Super Eagles, according to Amaju Pinnick, the former president of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).

The Enyimba coach, according to Pinnick, possesses the leadership qualities and humility to guide the Eagles to victory in addition to the principles he learned while playing for Ajax and Real Betis.

A player who was previously thought to be among the top wingers in the world. When speaking about Finidi’s playing career, he told Arise TV, “A player who played and liked interned under one of the best coaches in the world, Louis Van Gaal.”

He was good at Real Betis. If you are familiar with Ajax, you should be aware of their belief in developing football. He thus possesses every quality.

What then is necessary? This is a deeply held belief of mine.

In two friendlies against Ghana and Mali, Finidi was the Super Eagles’ interim coach and acted as a candidate for the head coaching position.

Pinnick stated he will ensure his appointment is successful.

“He participated in two friendlies; he triumphed against Ghana in a positive history and lost against Mali in a negative one,” he remarked.

Although he is a powerful personality, he doesn’t need to be taken seriously. Finidi will definitely surprise us, too.

I’ve worked with him as president, I’ve seen it, and I mentioned him as an assistant coach. His traits include dexterity, leadership, and—above all—humility.

Finidi supported Jose Peseiro during the most recent AFCON.

He is on the shortlist of seven coaches to be the head coach of the Super Eagles.
