The government of Lagos State has demanded cooperation from the private sector to support the state’s socioeconomic growth.
In order to spread the benefits of democracy to all social classes, significant cooperation between the public and private sectors is now necessary, according to Mr. Mobolaji Ogunlende, the commissioner for youth and social development in Lagos State.
When Hyde Energy’s football league, The Mechanics, was unveiled, Ogunlende gave a speech.
Champions League, contested in each of the state’s five divisions.
The football competition’s goal is to honor the state’s mechanics, who are regarded as the unsung heroes.
It is anticipated that the competition will begin on April 21 and go until May 26 of 2024.
In keeping with the significance of the administration led by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the commissioner stated, “Our agenda for this second administration is THEMES plus, which aims to incorporate social inclusion, gender equality, and youth engagement.”
The THEME agenda’s benefits simply lie in the fact that we are not abandoning anyone, regardless of their background, color, culture, or life goals. “No one is being left behind by the administration,” he clarified.
We are discussing cooperation, and as the Honorable Commissioner, “I also want to show you that the government is in support of such an initiative; if it’s not important enough, I will not be here.” Here, we have three joint ventures. The state government, the Nigerian Automobile Technicians Association (Nata), and Hyde Energy are working together.
In order to improve our community, he added that partnership and strong collaboration would be promoted because neither the public nor private sectors would be able to handle the duty of development alone.
He predicted that development would spread to make Lagos, the entire nation, and eventually the continent of Africa great if other people adopted this same kind of cooperation.
