The Banking on Women’s Health Conference (BWHC) will bring together key players in the health sector to discuss important issues pertaining to women’s health and to push for greater funding.

Ifeoluwa Dare-Johnson, the CEO of Healthtracka, revealed this information in a press release that LEADERSHIP was able to access. She stated that women frequently experience greater health challenges than men do, ranging from irregular menstrual cycles to hormonal imbalances, infertility issues, menopause, cardiac conditions, and more.

Leading healthtech company Healthtracka is organizing the first BWHC in Lagos, Nigeria on May 4, 2024, to solve these issues. According to Dare-Johnson, the occasion will bring together a wide range of stakeholders to discuss important concerns pertaining to women’s health and to push for more funding.

The BWHC also aimed to drive positive change by increasing awareness among policymakers, healthcare professionals, and the business community about the importance of investing in women’s health services, which will ultimately lead to improved access and health outcomes for women. Additionally, the BWHC aimed to empower women with knowledge by providing them with the tools and information they need to navigate their unique health journey.

Prominent authorities on women’s health will impart their wisdom. There will be stimulating discussions on important health issues affecting women as well as hands-on workshops that equip attendees with useful information and abilities. Attendees will have a platform to interact, exchange stories, and forge deep connections during the conference. The BWHC can collaborate to build a future where all women have access to the care they need by uniting a variety of voices, the speaker suggested.

According to Dare-Johnson, the amazing speaker lineup includes Dr. Kemi Ogunyemi, the special adviser to the governor of Lagos state on healthcare; Indima Okojie, an award-winning actress and philanthropist; Malvika Kapoor, VP Investments at Verod Capital; Yeside Olayinka-Agbola, the founder of Oloricoitus; and Bunmi George, the founder of the Shredder gang.
