ARTSWAX COMMUNICATIONS CELEBRATES ALHAJA ABIBATU MOGAJI’S LEGACY WITH STAGE PLAY IN LAGOS

Yesterday, the Glover Memorial Hall on Broad Street, Lagos, hosted the Lagos premiere of the stage production “Abibatu Mogaji,” honoring the life and legacy of Alhaja Abibatu Ashabi Mogaji, the late mother of President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The event coincided with the 11th anniversary of her passing. The play celebrates Alhaja Mogaji’s remarkable journey to success as a powerful woman leader, entrepreneur, and philanthropist. Her legacy of resilience, leadership, and entrepreneurial spirit continues to inspire Nigerians across the country.

Attendees were treated to a powerful portrayal of Alhaja Mogaji’s impact on Nigeria’s political and economic landscape. The event served as a tribute to her contributions and the paths she paved for future generations of leaders and entrepreneurs.

The stage production “Abibatu Mogaji” performed by National Troupe Of Nigeria and directed by Professor Ahmed Yerima as produced by Ola Awakan is a fitting tribute to a woman who left an indelible mark on Nigerian history.

Her memory continues to inspire and motivate many, and her legacy endures through her son, President Tinubu, and countless others she touched throughout her life.

 

In attendance includes, Deputy Majority Leader, Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. Adedamola Kasunmu, The IyaOloja General Of Nigeria Mrs. Folasade Ojo, Lagos State Ministry Of Tourism Madam Toke Benson and several stakeholders Lagos Market Women Association.
