Nigerian music sensation Ahmed Ololade, widely known as Asake, has promised to purchase a house for his father, Fatai Odunsi, and take full responsibility for his medical expenses.

This development comes just days after Odunsi publicly accused the singer of abandoning him since his health began deteriorating in 2022. Odunsi, who has been battling a stroke, had alleged that despite Asake’s rise to fame and wealth, he had not received any financial support from his son.

However, in a new video released on Sunday, Odunsi confirmed that Asake has now reached out to him.

Speaking in Yoruba, Odunsi expressed his pride in Asake and showered him with prayers. He explained that his earlier outburst was fueled by frustration over their prolonged lack of communication.

“His mother ought to ask him when last he saw me. That was what got me angry, but we have sorted all the problems. We are no longer fighting,” he said.

Odunsi also revealed that Asake has taken immediate steps to address his concerns, including instructing real estate agents to find him a new home.

“Asake said he will do everything that I want. We have settled, no more problems. They are now looking for a new house that he will buy for me. He has settled everything,” he stated.

Beyond providing housing, Asake has also agreed to take full responsibility for his 11-year-old daughter, Zeenat.

“He has never denied his child, but he has now promised to take full responsibility for the child,” Odunsi affirmed.

Additionally, he confirmed that Asake had sent the necessary funds for his medical treatment, ensuring that he could visit the hospital the following day.

With the reconciliation now in place, the father-son relationship appears to be mending, as Asake takes steps to support his family.
