UAC of Nigeria PLC (UACN), along with its subsidiary and affiliate companies, has announced the successful launch of its comprehensive training program through the UAC Academy, in keeping with its commitment to support organizational excellence.
The initiative’s importance was emphasized by UACN’s group managing director, Fola Aiyesimoju, in his welcome speech. He said that it unites gifted leaders from throughout the Group in a common learning and development path.
In order to make UAC a shining example of excellence, “talented leaders from across the Group come together for a shared journey of learning and growth through the management and leadership series offered by the UAC Academy.”
It was also learned that the Academy was established with the intention of empowering UAC of Nigeria Plc’s line managers, both present and prospective. Experienced educators and industry experts led intensive and interactive lessons during the inaugural session.
The Grand Cereals managing director, Vitus Ezinwa, led lessons on “Time Management and Effectiveness” during the program. Workshops on emotional intelligence and other critical skills necessary for managerial success were also included.
Furthermore, Dr. Bright Johnbull, a consultant family physician at Iwosan Lagoons Hospital, led an extensive session on “Health and Wellness for Optimised Performance,” highlighting the crucial connection between worker productivity and well-being.
