In anticipation of President Muhammadu Buhari’s scheduled commissioning of the Dangote Refinery on Monday, May 22, 2023, the Lagos State Government has encouraged residents and commuters to schedule their travel in and out of the Lekki-Epe corridor between 8:00 am and 2:00 pm.
The Lagos State Commissioner for Transportation, Dr. Frederic Oladeinde, released a statement announcing this.
Due to the heavy vehicular traffic that will be present on that axis that day as a result of the project’s commissioning, Oladeinde stated that the state government’s traffic notice to the general public, in particular regular road users of the Lekki-Epe expressway, is essential.
