A delegation of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) paid a courtesy call at the office of Mr. Idris Aregbe, Special Advisor on Tourism, Arts, and Culture.
The Special Adviser welcomed the team headed by Comrade Lucky Emonefe, the State’s National President, and assured the visitors that the State Government is committed to improving the state’s education system. She emphasized that Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu will not spare any effort when it comes to ensuring the welfare and well-being of students.
Aregbe gave the team advice on how to behave properly at all times and to see the current difficulties facing the nation as temporary. He also gave the guests his unwavering support and cooperation in their efforts to raise Lagos State’s educational standards.
The delegation’s leader, Comrade Lucky Emonefe, the National President of NANS, commended the Special Adviser in his remarks for effectively representing young people through his office and stated that the Association is proud of his efforts and contribution to the advancement of the State.
However, Comrade Emonefe asked for cooperation and engagement with the Ministry in order to present Lagos State’s rich cultural legacy at events and programs.
Among the other guests from various Federative States of America were Comrade Idris Lekan Alimi, Chairman of NANS in Lagos State, and Comrade Babatunde Akinteye, President of the NANS Senate.
