FIFA Gives 30 Nigerian Referees Approved Status For 2024 Games

Thirty Nigerian match officials will be added to the international rosters for the 2024 football game, according to FIFA, the body that oversees football.

 

Eleven referees, eleven assistant referees, four beach football referees, and four futsal referees are among them.

 

11 referees have been approved to officiate international matches in 2019; this information was confirmed in a message sent to the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).

 

They are: Elaigwe Hannah Enekole, Akintoye Yemisi Eunice, Egba Patrick John, Madu Ndidi Patience, Mustapha Grema Mohammed, Ogabor Odey Joseph, Nurudeen Abubakar, Abdulsalam Kasimu Abiola, and Abdullahi Abubakar.

 

Eleven more people have been authorised to serve as assistant referees.

 

They are Agbons Faith, Mfon Friday Akpan, Digbori Tejiri, Usman Abdulmajeed Olaide, Igho Hope Ogenekewe, Terah Kabenda Beauty, Ahmad Mustapha Tijjani, Pwadutakam Samuel, Igudia Efosa Celestine, Abibatu Iyadunni, and Muhammad Yakubu.

 

The futsal football list included Ukah Ndubuisi Odigomma, Musa Dung Davou, Umuago Paul Akpome, and Bello Zuru Alhassan, while the beach football list included Ogunmuyiwa Jelili, Fawole Olawale Adeolu, Olajide Olayinka, and Rabiu Ahmad.
