Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, yesterday, said his administration was working hard and perfecting new plans to serve Lagos residents better, and urged the people to support the government to achieve a greater Lagos.

Sanwo-Olu spoke at the ongoing Second Session of the 35th Synod of the Diocese of Lagos, Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion) holding at Our Saviour’s Church, Tafawa Balewa Square, Lagos.

The event is themed ‘The Earnest Expectations of The Sons of God’.

The governor, who was represented by the Secretary to the Lagos State Government, Abimbola Salu-Hundeyin, thanked Lagos residents for re-electing him for a second term in office and urged them to consider the suffering they could be experiencing now as minor compared to better things he said would soon begin to come their way.

He said his cabinet held a retreat in Epe on how to deliver more dividends of democracy to the people, noting that the recent launch of the Blue rail line, which has improved movement of people in the metropolis, transportation-wise, was the beginning of great things to come towards achieving a greater Lagos.
