Governor Sanwo-Olu’s Media Aide, Gboyega Akosile Celebrates Daughter At Graduation

Thanksgiving!

I have more than a million reasons to be thankful to the Almighty for. In today’s world, God in His infinite mercy gave me the enablement to raise not just a beautiful “Gen Z” but one with the fear of Allah, respect for her culture and the environment; dutiful and diligent in every sense of the word! I remember what I told you the first day I took you to the University campus, that the least I’d accept from you upon graduation, is “first class”, knowing that there’s none above that.

We both laughed and you promised that you’d make it. Fast forward to your graduation, you came out few points short of 1st class and dropped to 2:1. That made me happy because if you had not chased the expected grade, you’d probably be in the lower class. Thank you my dear daughter for making me and your mom very proud parents on a day like this. May God Almighty bless you too with good children that’d listen to you. As I always say to you, that your younger ones look up to you for directions. And because you’ve led successfully, I observe that your brothers are working even harder to surpass your own grades.
