Asake has achieved economic success and become a celebrity since entering the mainstream in 2022, and his music is helping to spread Afrobeats throughout the world.

 

According to TurnTable Charts’ most current year-end rankings, Asake was the musician who Nigerian radio stations played the most in 2023.

 

Asake received a stunning 8.4 billion impressions to top the list that includes other music stars whose music characterized the year.

 

In Nigeria in 2023, Asake was the most streamed musician, and his song “Lonely At the Top” was the most streamed song overall on all platforms. ‘Lonely At The Top’ has the third-highest impressions on radio in 2023, which is another indication of his digital success.

 

With 8.1 billion impressions, Ayra Starr comes in second on the list thanks to the popularity of her hit songs “Rush” and “Sability” on the commercial front. After he shaped 2023 with the hit singles “Feel” and “Uavailable” from his Grammy-nominated fourth album “Timeless,” Davido accumulated 7.5 billion impressions, placing him third.

 

With 7.4 billion impressions, Rema comes in fourth place on the list, and BNXN completes the top 5 with 6.4 billion.
