The inspiration behind Joeboy, the popular musician Joseph Akinfenwaa Donus, has been discovered. The song “Better” is one of his hits.

The vocalist clarified that he composed the song to raise awareness of domestic abuse directed towards women.

In a recent interview, he revealed this to Vivz, a well-known media personality.

Joeboy said that in African society, women aren’t always treated “properly.”

“Better” is my all-time fave song, the host declared. It sounds like you’re standing up for a woman who has been mistreated by another male in that song.

Joeboy stated: “Domestic abuse is a common occurrence in African society.” Women are not always treated fairly and with malice. My goal was to raise awareness of domestic abuse directed towards women.
