Kennis Music is on the verge of celebrating its 25th anniversary in 2024, marking a quarter-century of influence within the sphere of the new Afrobeats movement.

A heartfelt tribute extends to the trailblazers—Junior and Pretty, Remedies (Eedris Abdulkareem, Eddy Remedy & Tony Tetuila), and Platashun Boyz (2face Idibia, now globally recognized as 2Baba, Black Face & Faze)—whose contributions have propelled our Music Global Brand to unprecedented heights.

The journey commenced with the pioneers—Junior and Pretty, Remedies, and Platashun Boyz—laying the foundation for a generation of musical luminaries. Today, artists like Wizkid, Burna Boy, Davido, Tiwa Savage, Kizz Daniel, Olamide, Mr. Eazy, and others stand tall, solidifying Nigerian music’s esteemed position on the world stage.

In the present era, the torchbearers among the Gen Zs, including Rema, Asake, Ayra Star, Seyi Vibes, and numerous other talents, continue to elevate Nigerian Music, fostering its iconic status as a globally recognized genre.

A moment of recognition is due to the pivotal role played by media houses such as Ray Power FM, Africa Independent Television (AIT), and BEN TV in London, U.K., in expanding Afrobeats’ influence across the European Union (EU).

To all involved, your dedication and contributions are commendable. My fervent wish is for the everlasting reign of Afrobeats and its stakeholders. Gratitude extends to Nigerians both at home and in the diaspora for their unwavering support.

Congratulations on this significant milestone, and warm festive wishes to all.
