As part of our commitment to improving Farm infrastructures and market access across Lagos
State, the State Project Coordinator in the company of other PIU members recently visited various project sites facilitated under the Lagos CARES Result Area 2 Intervention.
Key projects visited include:
The inspection of a cassava processing platform with a solar-powered water system at Ota-Ikosi Agbowa, Epe;
The upgraded borehole water system with essential equipment at Aladepekun Market, Epe;
The constructed culverts connecting Obawole and Solanke Communities in Ifako-Ijaiye; and
The upgraded roads at Porobage Farmers
Community, which ensures easier access for farmers and buyers of agricultural produce
Beyond celebrating these achievements, the visit focused on engaging with community leaders, including esteemed Obas and community leaders on the importance of maintaining and protecting these projects to ensure long-term benefits.
By fostering community ownership and sustainability, we are building stronger economies, improving livelihoods, and ensuring continuous development across Lagos State.
