The Lagos State Commissioner for Transportation, Mr. Oluwaseun Osiyemi alongside Permanent Secretary, Mr. Olawale Musa, General Manager Lagos State Parking Authority, Mrs. Adebisi Adelabu and other Officials of the Ministry of Transportation inspected the ongoing construction of the Opebi-Ojota Link Bridge and the repairs of the Adekunle Ramp of the Third Mainland Bridge to monitor the progress of the projects and assess their impact on traffic.
At the Opebi-Ojota Construction Site, Engr. Tomilola Olatinwo explained that the project upon completion will create a viable alternative for Motorists inbound and outbound Ikeja from Ojota and Ikorodu Road.
Also at Adekunle Ramp rehabilitation where the team were received by the Federal Controller of Works in Lagos State, Engr. Olukorede Keisha, construction works is progressing to be completed at record time.
The Transportation Commissioner apprehended some Motorists flouting the traffic diversion plan during the tour, he appealed for the cooperation of the citizenry for the successful completion of the projects.
