Nigeria Police Force Nabs Black Axe Hit Man, Abdul-Azeez Ibrahim, aka Butcher, in Ogun State

In a significant development, the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) has successfully apprehended Abdul-Azeez Ibrahim, known as Butcher, a member of the notorious Black Axe cult group.

 

The arrest took place in Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State, with Butcher identified as a suspected kidnapper, armed robber, and prominent figure within the Black Axe cult.

 

The Capture: Police Spokesperson Confirms Arrest of Butcher

 

The official announcement came through the Force’s spokesperson, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, who shared the news via his X handle on Monday.

 

Adejobi outlined Butcher’s criminal associations, labeling him as the hit man and armourer for the Neo Black Movement of Africa, widely known as Black Axe, specifically in the Ijebu Ode region.

Further details emerged about the arrested suspect, Abdul-Azeez Ibrahim, revealing that he is an extra-year student at the Tai Solarin University of Education (TASUED) situated in Ijebu Ode, Ogun State.

 

The connection between Butcher’s educational pursuits and his alleged involvement in criminal activities adds a layer of complexity to the case.

 

In response to the significant arrest, the Ogun State Police Command has announced its intention to address the media promptly.
