Controversial musician Brymo has expressed gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for approving National Anthem Bill 2024, which restores the previous national anthem, “Nigeria, We Hail Thee.”

He pointed out that the context and content of the words to the reintroduced song are superior.

“President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is officially my G.O.A.T. of all time Nigerian presidents,” Brymo stated on his Instagram account.

The opening line of the new national song, which declares Nigeria to be the “motherland,” is all you need to read. It goes on to say that Africa may now serve as both a fatherland and a symbol of polygamy, allowing us to finally concentrate on our own families.

“And the line, “In brotherhood, we stand,” is my favourite. Now all of us belong to the biggest cult on the planet. Today, the only fraternity in this country that aspirational boys and girls must be a part of is Nigeria! I’m overjoyed!

According to reports, on Wednesday, May 29, 2024, President Bola Tinubu signed the National anthem Bill 2024 into law, bringing back the traditional anthem, “Nigeria, We Hail Thee.”

Stars including musician Joeboy, comedian Igosave, and actress Kate Henshaw have criticised the federal government for putting changing the national anthem ahead of addressing the many issues the nation faces.
