In order to help with the efficient operation of the second-tier league, the Nigeria National League, or NNL, has made an appeal to cooperating organizations for financial support.

George Aluo, the chairman of NNL, stated that his administration’s progress has been hampered by the lack of funding.

He said, “I have to keep thanking Alhaji Gusau for considering me deserving of the position of NNL chairman and NFF board member.

“I am pleading with corporate entities to support us by doing for the NPFL what GTI is doing.

We’re not advocating that they stuff our pockets with cash. Once referees indemnity is taken care of, clubs will be able to win more games on the road, as is now the case in the NPFL. Referees will not be frightened and will instead perform at their highest level.
