Korede Bello initially gained recognition in the Nigerian music industry when he joined the esteemed Mavins record label in 2014. With his 2015 hit track, “God win,” further solidified his status as one of the industry’s most talented artists. He garnered a substantial fan base and even initiated a movement known as the “Bellovers movement,” akin to Justin Bieber’s “Beliebers.” However, his popularity waned after the release of “Mungo Park” in 2016.
In 2017, Korede Bello made a triumphant return with a captivating song titled “Romantic,” featuring Tiwa Savage, the former Mavins first lady. This track soared to the top of Nigerian music charts and became a favorite among many listeners. Nevertheless, since then, Korede Bello has encountered difficulties in producing hit songs or notable collaborations.
