Maryanne Ahneeka Iwuchukwu, a former housemate on Big Brother Naija, has publicly chastised Season 7 winner Phyna for criticising the reality show’s administrators for unfinished rewards.
According to the DAILY POST, Phyna angrily confronted the BBNaija organisers about a sponsor’s outstanding 1BTC debt to her. She claims the award has increased in value to much than N100 million.
Ahneeka responded by criticising Phyna for criticising the organisers in public, claiming it wasn’t “a wise idea.”
The reality personality said on the “Terms & Conditions” podcast that Phyna and other previous winners weren’t entitled to their rewards and didn’t deserve them.
“The thing about Phyna is, when you walk out of Biggie’s house, all of a sudden, from 200 followers, you have millions of people, and you think you are invisible,” the speaker stated.
Everyone experiences it. To keep working hard, one needs to be thoughtful and disciplined.
Even though it’s possible that the organisers owe Phyna money, the job is still a job at the end of the day. She should have sought out inner guidance. It’s possible that she attempted to have a polite conversation and failed; I’m not sure.
I disagree, though, if she believes that using social media to blackmail them is the best course of action. It would have been easy for her to lose.
She very well might have been the runner-up. And some are arguing, “Listen, nobody deserves that money; she deserves the money.”
