Nigerian singer, Duncan Mighty, has acknowledged his involvement in the Niger Delta crisis.

He said that during his involvement in militancy, God had saved his life multiple times.

Duncan Mighty recently stated, “I was involved in the Niger Delta crisis,” in an interview with 3Music in Accra, Ghana.

God has repeatedly spared my life. I’m a boy from Port Harcourt. I’m not from the Lagos area. I was born and raised in the South South, a combat zone prior to the amnesty.

“I have participated in numerous community initiatives pertaining to the preservation of our people and the oil industry.

“But when I became famous, no one knew that I was that boy from back in the creeks.”

He also disclosed that, before to turning to secular music, he was a church drummer.

He remarked, “I was Christ Embassy in Port Harcourt’s first drummer.”
