President Bola Tinubu on Monday evening hosted members of the House of Representatives to an Iftar dinner at the State House, Abuja, as part of his ongoing engagements during the holy month of Ramadan.
The lawmakers arrived at the Aso Rock Presidential Villa around 7:00 p.m. (local time) in three white Toyota Coaster buses, joining the President for the fourth Iftar he has hosted this Ramadan.
The gathering follows a series of similar dinners, where Tinubu previously hosted state governors, service chiefs, cabinet members, heads of paramilitary agencies, principal officers of the 10th Senate, and former lawmakers.
Among those present at Monday’s Iftar were Vice President Kashim Shettima and the Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila, alongside other top government officials.
The Iftar dinners serve as an avenue for the President to engage with key stakeholders while fostering unity and collaboration among political leaders during the sacred period of Ramadan.
