Ngerian music stars Wizkid and Davido have been named among the winners of the 2025 NAACP Image Awards.
The winners of the 56th edition were announced on this week. Wizkid secured the award for Outstanding Duo, Group, or Collaboration for his song with Brent Faiyaz, marking his sixth NAACP Image Award win the most by any Nigerian artist.
Davido also took home the award for Outstanding International Song for his collaboration with Chris Brown.
However, other Nigerian nominees, including Tems and Burna Boy, lost in their respective categories.
The NAACP Image Awards, organized by the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, celebrate outstanding achievements in the arts and media.
