The FIFA Technical Leadership Diploma’s second edition will begin in Germany on April 1, 2024, with the goal of becoming the “globally recognized qualification” for technical leaders employed in the game.

One of the twenty-five international competitors from member associations, confederations, and FIFA who will assemble at the national training center of the German Football Association for the initial round of the exclusive level 6 qualification is Coach Augustine Eguavoen, Technical Director of the Nigeria Football Federation.

According to FIFA Director of Global Football Development Steven Martens, “The introduction of the FIFA Technical Leadership Diploma’s second edition provides additional proof of our dedication to the ongoing investment in the education of technical leaders.”

We think that each participant in the FIFA Technical Leadership Diploma program will be better equipped to manage football in their nation, both on and off the field. Developing outstanding technical leaders will also help us achieve our long-term strategic goals of expanding the game at all levels and giving every talent an opportunity.
